Le nouveau est arrivé!

As we’ve done for the last 4 years, we’ve once again crafted a deliciously fresh and fruity take on Merlot in time for Nouveau Day!

Traditionally, Nouveau Day is celebrated in the French region of Beaujolais on the third Thursday in November to mark the first release of wines from the finished harvest. And while the Nouveau wines from Beaujolais crafted toast the harvest of that year's vineyards are typically made with Gamay Noir, we offer our own homage to the end of harvest in the form of our Forbidden Cats label Merlot!

Black cherry, butterscotch, violets, star anise, and hints of rosemary and oranges greet the nose while orange peel, black plums, cherry cola, blackberries, and echoes of limestone await in glass. Pairs well with roasted veggies, sauteed mushrooms, roast duck, hummus and flatbread, and so much more!
